Three scenarios — plain English

It does not matter who closes

Your job is the introduction. We handle all pricing, negotiation, and contract execution. Once we confirm your referral, you are protected for 12
months. If a contract signs in that window, you earn — regardless of how much (or how little) involvement you had after the introduction.

Renewals and expansions count

Commission does not stop at Year 1. Your commission applies to the initial contract term and to every renewal and expansion of that same
contract. If the client you introduced keeps paying us, you keep earning.

Six steps from introduction to payment

1

2

Submit your referral

Log in and complete the referral form. We need the prospect's name, contact details, deal type, your relationship to them, and a rough deal size. If the
portal is down, email mail@editonthespot.com.

3

We confirm within 3 business days

We check whether the prospect is already in our pipeline. If accepted, your 12-month Referral Protection Period begins. If they are already in our
pipeline, we will note your involvement and may still pay a discretionary commission.

4

Facilitate (optional)

Make a warm introduction, join an initial call, share context about the prospect's needs. You do not have to do this to earn your commission, but it often
speeds things up.

5

Deal closes

Your portal updates automatically when a contract is signed. Commission is calculated on Net Collected Fees — the cash actually received from the
client, after any refunds or credits.

6

Get paid

Within 30 days of each payment we receive from the client. Payments are aggregated and sent when your running balance reaches $100. Funds go to
the bank account in your portal profile.

First-touch rule: if two partners refer the same prospect, the first accepted referral (by portal timestamp) wins. We pay one commission
chain per deal.

12-month protection: once accepted, your referral is protected for 12 months — even if the agreement ends during that period.

What you need to have in place

Before your first payment

Make sure the following are on file in your Partner Portal profile. We cannot process payments until they are:

Required

Your bank account or payment details

Required

Tax form: W-9 (US persons) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (non-US)

Required

Verified identity information if requested

If a payment is delayed because these are not on file, it is not a breach of our agreement. We will release the payment as soon as the information is
received.

Clawback

If a client receives a full or partial refund within 90 days of a payment, we will deduct the corresponding commission from your next payout. This
protects both parties against cancellations early in a contract. It is rare in practice.

Disputes

If you think a commission statement is wrong, raise it in the portal dispute centre within 30 days of the statement date. Disputes raised after that
window are waived unless the error was caused by our mistake or fraud.

06

Disclosure and compliance

A simple rule: be transparent

When you recommend us to someone in a public channel — on LinkedIn, in a newsletter, at an event, on a podcast — you must make it clear you are
a paid referral partner. This is an FTC requirement and protects you as much as us.

The standard programme works for most referrals. If you are considering a deeper arrangement — reselling, white-labelling, integration, or a custom
commercial structure — we handle those separately.
